Digital photomontage is a fusion of images from various photography interests - these may encompass a theme of related images, or images that are totally different from each other in style, content, contrast, color or time. By blending several images, a more complex image is created with an entirely different message. Some of these may include a grunge effect as well.

Grunge photography goes beyond what the naked eye perceives and brings with it a dimension of powerful emotions. These images are digitally edited and enhanced, to create the grunge effect. These effects are gritty realism, and can at times be described as dark, dirty, old, gloomy and possibly has an eerie vibe to it.
